5/13/99 19:47 PDT: Hey, only a month and a week later! Finally tonight I inverted the news. But here is what is up:
I got rejected all over the ivy leagues, but I got accepted to Northwestern. Visited NU, UCLA, and Berkeley, and decided on Northwestern. River trip was a blast, we'll be going back there during the summer with Ben's zodiac, but this time we'll stay at the hot pools.
Prom approaches at my school, and AP tests rage. Three down (for me), two to go. Tomorrow and tuesday. It's great, sleep in until 9:30, then have lunch with friends and todder to school at about 12. With regards to prom, I myself have a pretty, or perhaps hot, but i'd rather call her "pretty hot", date. According to Scott, a girl can't be both "pretty" and "hot". I tend to disagree.

4/2/99 12:27 PDT: Seems like I'm down to about a once-a-week update rate here. Well a few college letters came. I got denied at Harvard and Stanford, but UCLA and UCB let me in...the fools. Muhaha. Still to come (hopefully tomorrow) are letters from Dartmouth, Northwestern, Yale, and Princeton. I'm taking off tomorrow to the Colorado River with some friends, so hopefully they'll come tomorrow while I'm still here. I'm not really distraught about not getting into Harvard and Stanford, but it is a dissapointment. I never really expected to get in. I'm not going to make predictions for the remaining ones...well, okay, I will. I don't think i'll get in to Princeton either.
Anyhow, today...It's the end of the quarter and a minimum day, so I'll probably get to updating some things. I plan to invert the news items so that the newest is up top. I'll be adding a page about Pacific Crest, hopefully something else if I can think of what to put on. Maybe put a bar across the side to make things look prettier. And if I can think of other things to add, I'll put those on.

3/24/99 18:02 PDT: Thanks to Eric, (The one and only Eric of Eric's Home Page ) the picture of me up top has been greatly reduced in size (from 60k to 23k). If I can ever get that book from Edward, I'll put up "Shanfield's Corner" which will consist of some writing of Eric Shanfield that I find amusing or entertaining. Until then, I'll try and come up with something else to put on my board. I'll probably start putting up thoughts of the day or something, unoriginal as that is. And that's all for today.

3/16/99 22:15 PDT: It's been a full week since I worked on the page, so why the heck not? I don't really have time, so not much is going to get done today. What I'm trying to do is first to clean up my folder where all the stuff for my page is. That means putting all the graphics files in a graphics folder instead of leaving them sitting around in the main folder. Not a big deal, but I'm not totally sure of exact folder name here, so it's funny. No, it's stupid. At any rate...After I get that done I plan to add a little picture of myself to the top of my page.
Science Olympiad did indeed make it to state! That's April 10th, right at the end of spring break. For most of the rest of spring break, I and some friends will be going to the river. I got the schedule of performances for Pacific Crest today, that will probably go up on the page in a bit. For now, this is it. If the picture isn't up, I got lazy.

3/9/99 21:42 PDT: Looks like I've finished my little bio of myself. I got accepted to UCSD today. That's pretty cool. Most likely I won't be going there, but it's nice to get that first letter in. Still waiting for Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, UCB, UCLA, Northwestern, and Dartmouth. Who knows where I'll go? Not me. If you do, tell me. It might help.
More things to come. I'll probably be putting something up that Shanfield wrote a while ago. I'll move the links to a seperate page most likely. I'll be adding pictures to my bio. I'll also add on a bunch of links having to do with things I'm involved in. And of course, the news will keep getting updated.

3/6/99 02:13 PDT: Been working on a little biography page for myself. It will be appearing shortly. Aside from that, science olympiad was on friday! Very nice for me. Third place Road Scholar, first place Write it, Do it, which I attribute all to Vince. The school got third place behind Troy and Valencia. Pretty good for us with absolutely no financing, eh? We should be going on to state, which is in about a month. My orchestra had a concert last night (Saturday), that was good. Worked a lot today on the government presentation Ben and I have. The bureaucracy...it'll be fun.

3/3/99 22:03 PST: Well, I made a stupid mistake. Updated things and only saved it in the html. So next time I updated in the txt and I saved over the html the earlier update got erased. Smart, huh? Well, anyhow, I did very little today. Added the background and now working on a little graphic. Added the guestbook yesterday. You yourself could have the great honor of being the first person to sign if you act quickly. Lates.

3/1/99: Primenet was pissing me off beyond belief with having jack crap in the way of support. So I said screw them and here I am at fortunecity. I already like it better than primenet. Evil ISP. Now I am left with an option: work on this thing or do homework. Which will I choose?

2/23/99: Okay, ladies and gents. First: If you're here, it's most likely accidental. I just started learning how to do this html stuff today (2/23), so obviously things are pretty damn elementary. So go away! Next: Things are hopefully going to be added and tweaked daily. Since I only get the site tonight at midnight, it won't even exist until tomorrow (2/24). And I'm not staying up until midnight. In fact, I think I'll get the heck offline right now. Sleep=good.
